Home Network
In this section, we are going to look at the home network and what I’ve done to help protect myself from threats and allow my self the freedom of exploration via the web. As far as I’m concerned, there are three major parts to networking. Of course there are more intricate details to networking when speaking in terms of troubleshooting, but I’m not going to be speaking to networking on that level. Instead, I’ll be speaking on Hardware, Software, and Tunnels. I’ll detail the services and hardware I use, why I use it, and how it works. These points will be applicable to home labs as well as scalable for enterprise use. Please feel free to move about subject by the section that interests you most, but please know, they all work together to form a complete system.

They can either piggyback off of your traffic or target you anonymously through apps made to randomly find vulnerabilities. A Virtualized Private Network (VPN) can protect you from these types of threats.
